She has been contracted by real estate, construction, and financial companies in the Twin Cities including Wells Fargo, BRIX Real Estate, Kerby & Cristina Real Estate Experts, Cove Builders, Guidance Homes, and LGI Homes, among others.

Chief Operating Officer (April 2017 - August 2018)

Kayla was responsible for the overall leadership and direction of this 20-person boutique real estate brokerage including the direct management and development of a core team of 4. She provided leadership and direction for all main business functions and programs including annual AOP and strategic planning, finance and budget, marketing, talent retention and recruiting, and new business development. She oversaw development and implementation of formalized business programs, systems, and policies emphasizing core metrics, review standards, and accountability measures throughout the business.

During her tenure, Kayla oversaw a complete organizational restructuring including the complete overhaul and redevelopment of financial, marketing, and recruitment departments; the implementation of formal management standards and training programs; the design and opening of a fourth physical office location serving the western suburbs; the successful expansion of the business by 30%; and a 50% profit increase during her tenure.

Medtronic Corporation

Compliance Specialist II (December 2015 - July 2017)

Kayla provided both compliance process and grant program leadership while managing day-to-day grant operations within the Restorative Therapies Group (RTG) business unit. This also included managing the annual funding plan and $2M budget to align grant funding with overall award strategy, goals and compliance requirements.

She served as the subject matter expert in the areas of grant metrics reporting and project management, developing and providing training on both subjects. She also developed and lead improvement projects addressing multi- and inter-group processes, systems, and metrics programs to assist and improve overall processing efficiency, effectiveness, and customer experience.

Boston Scientific

Compliance Analyst II (January 2013 - December 2015)

As project manager for their U.S. Federal and State transparency reporting program, Kayla also lead the development and implementation of the reporting program model in France for use throughout Europe. She also provided expertise and leadership in continuous improvement and project management methods and tools, leading and supporting cross-functional and global projects that improved the delivery capability and overall compliance culture of Boston Scientific.

Kayla was also integral in the development of physician training program models and lead the initial launch of the S-ICD device physician training programs. This effort included the successfully programming and execution of 51 training events training over 3000 physicians.
